Job Title: Management Analyst III
Location: Washington, DC

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processing Awards through Central HR and EUR-IO/FM (Budget Office)

  • Maintaining records of post and domestic certified Special Differential Positions

  • Coordinating training sessions for the bureau through the Foreign Service Institute  

  • Travel to overseas posts to provide temporary administrative/human resources assistance as required.

  • Organizing and publishing the bi-monthly bureau newsletters.

  • Coordinate the awards and scholarship process for two bureaus.

  • Oversee timeline for solicitation and accepting award nominations.

  • Coordinate the presentation of awards and scholarships, including ordering plaques, writing presentation scripts, recruiting award presenters, and any other announcements or publications, as appropriate for each award.

  • Communicate with nominees/applicants, encouraging them to attend the awards ceremony, as appropriate.

  • Develop, implement and deliver training programs for varying levels of individuals in two bureaus.

  • Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house)

  • Serving as an advisor to senior EUR management on Award Issues

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret Clearance required

  • 4-5 years of administrative experience

  • Must have experience/ focus on Human Resources.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training programs

  • Knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs required;

  • High-level of effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal plus organization and presentation skills

  • Analyze facts contained in applications, documentary evidence, affidavits, and statements

  • Research policy and regulatory material to determine requirements for specific situation
